Surprisingly it is a biggest funding of the Year. I am saying about Ram Temple in Ayodha of India. it is third largest religious funding after Sree Padmanabha Swamy Temple of India (1200 billion USD) and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints of United State (200 billion USD). Its complex spanning across 70 acres, featuring the main temple on 2.7 acres, measuring 161 ft in height, the Ram Temple is among the most expensive religious project in Indian in recent years, with an estimated cost of Rs. 1800 crore (close to $217 million), while the total construction was done utilization 51.4% of the donation received, Ram Temple project is said to have received donations totaling more than Rs 5,500 crore (close to $663 million) in "SHRI RAM JANMABHOOMI TEERTH KSHETRA" (PAN: AAZTS6197B) so far. As per the details available on the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust website, Spiritual guru Morari Bapu name comes up top on the list of beneficiaries for his contribution of Rs 11.3 crore towards the building of the temple,
His supporters in the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom also contributed individually, totaling Rs 8 crore.
Other Donor for Ram Temple construction:
- Dilip Kumar V Lakhi and his family, who are prominent diamond merchants from Surat, have reportedly donated the most. Their extraordinary gesture involves a donation of 101 kg of gold, valued at approximately Rs 68 crore.
- Gujarat-based Govindbhai Dholakia of Sri Ramkrishna Exports has reportedly donated Rs 11 crore for the temple.
- Mahesh Kabutarwala of Swiss Glascoat Equipments is said to have donated Rs 5 crore.
- Lavji Badshah of Matrushri Kankuba Foundation donated Rs 1 crore
- Chennai-based WS Habib has donated Rs 1 lakh for Ram Mandir
The much waited “Pran Pratishtha” ceremony for Shri Ram Lalla is all set to take place between 12:05 pm and 1:00 pm on 22 January, 2024 in presence of Prime Minister Sri Narendra Modi and several notable dignitaries.
The 51-inch idol was sculpted using Krishna Shila stone,
which is common in the districts of Mysore.
Rama Lalla idols for the grand temple were made by three sculptors— Ganesh Bhatt, Yogiraj and Satyanarayan Pandey. The temple trust said that of the three, one would be placed in the sanctum sanctorum while the other two kept in other parts of the mandir.
At the Ram Temple in Ayodhya, is adorned with an array of magnificent jewellery that reflects his divine status. At least 15 kg of gold and 18,000 diamonds and emeralds have been used in making the Jewellery for the deity.
Jalesar-based Aditya Mittal contributed a 2,400 kg bell made of 8 metals worth Rs 25 lakh to the temple.
